St. Philip’s Episcopal School provides students with numerous opportunities to participate and become involved in extracurriculars. Cheerleading, folklorico dance, and cooking classes have been offered recently and were very popular.

St. Philip's is a member of the Private Schools Interscolastic Association (PSIA) and 1st-7th grade students compete yearly at the district level meet. Students who score in the top two for the district earn the right to compete at the state level meet which occurs at Texas Christian University each spring.

Students in 1st through 7th grade compete in the annual Scripps National Spelling Bee. Each class sends two representatives to the school bee and our bee champion represents St. Philip's at the South Texas Regional Spelling Bee held in Corpus Christi each spring.

Students in Kindergarten through 7th grade will compete in the St. Philip's Yearly Science Fair. This year, students will be judged and we will be sending students to the Coastal Bend Regional Science Fair held at Texas A & M Corpus Christi.
